Enough already with this bi-partisan fetish. This is war and people are going to die because of your choices! The entire Trump administration is recasting the country as Germany circa 1938, and you are helping pick who gets cast as Eichmann, Himmler and Streicher to Trump’s Hitler.
There is NO excuse for voting for people like Ben Carson, or Rex Tillerson, or ANYONE Trump picks. These people are either unqualified for the job, crooks, or simply sociopaths. Did you not learn anything in the last eight years? How about the last year? The only answer to any GOP proposal is “NO”. The answered should be delivered in writing, preferably attached to a brick.
The GOP is not playing. They have no shame, no morals, and no mercy. They would not piss on any of you if you were on fire. They want the country and the world remade into their image and they will stop at nothing to make this happen. These people are either completely, criminally dishonest, or pathologically insane. Let me paraphrase Kyle Reese from The Terminator:
“Listen, and understand! The GOP is out there! It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop... ever, until you are dead!”
You are not helping our cause by voting in Trump’s henchmen, you are demoralizing your allies and demonstrating your are incredibly, painfully, suicidally, stupid.
These people will NEVER work with you for the good of the country. They will accept your offer, smile at you, then they will gut you and feed you your own entrails. Then Trump will hire Russian hookers to defile your corpse while they make your family watch.
Think I am exaggerating? Try to remember that the Exxon-Russia deal by itself is worth a HALF-TRILLION DOLLARS to these people. How many people has Putin personally murdered in his career at the KGB? How many people has he had murdered for a fraction of that sum in his political career? Do you think people like Trump, Pence, Tillerson, Sessions, et al, value human life and or democracy more than they do money?
It is deeply depressing to us to read the news and find out that ANY Democrat is voting for ANY Trump appointee, never mind the shock when it turns out to be people like Elizabeth Warren or Sherrod Brown.
So, stop. PLEASE, just stop. This may be your last clue before your find yourself in front of a wall being offered a last cigarette and a blindfold by your “colleague from across the aisle”.
